Harbor Area Service Committee is the guardian of the area service of Alcoholics Anonymous in conformity with the Twelve Traditions. Its function shall be those of SERVICE ONLY; never those of government.

Representative purpose: To bring to the attention of the Harbor Area Service Committee the wishes, desires and requests of their home group and to back all action taken
by the committee to act as liaison between the individual groups and the Service Board.
